Varies completely from nothing to a full fridge. As full time sitters we’d say fairly typical from a host is milk, bread, eggs, coffee, tea, spices, a bit of fresh fruit.
A bottle of wine is a nice touch. You don’t have to leave anything but it’s a great start in making a sitter feel welcome and not have to dash straight out the door to a grocery store
