I applied for a sit for next year, because there’s a museum I want to revisit on the opposite coast. (I don’t sit during year-end holidays.)

Host replied in under 1.5 hours and we video chatted within hours of that. She volunteered a video tour of her home, unasked, and showed me her two cats as well. Then offered me the sit and sent a welcome guide at the same time. I accepted and read it right away.

No unpleasant surprises. Just a pleasant one — she volunteered to let me use her car.

It’s great to see a positive post that shows how the system is supposed to work. We have done over 120 sits and 99.99999% of our experiences are very positive. We have looked after fantastic pets, met wonderful hospitable hosts and stayed in beautiful properties surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
I love this life.
