A few people said GPS is showing AI summaries of peoples’ reviews now…so is this essentially what they’re doing to get around the take-down notice?
I’m thinking that would make sense, since Google & practically every other company / search engine are delivering AI summaries of content that’s posted on the internet now, with no repercussions.
If a sitter has established relationships or good rapport with some of the HOs, maybe such HOs would be willing to provide the sitter with an independent review that can be freely used on other platforms. I don’t see how that could be prohibited.
I agree with you. My first thought was that they own the site and the content generated within their platform. I wouldn’t think it was allowed to transfer reviews to a different platform.
I guess so, as as long as the review isn’t reproduced verbatim I can’t see how THS can prevent this. I ran the process through several AI agents and each time the response was a summary of reviews isn’t illegal, even when the reviews themselves are owned by THS.
I received all of my data from THS after submitting a SAR, it was quick and easy to have Co-Pilot run through all the reviews and summarise. I tweaked the summary a few times and now have a one page document.
