welcome to the community here and I hope you will enjoy all of your sits in 2023. You both seem to be very versatile. I only look after cats although I have some small experience of birds and dogs as well.

What do you usually do in between? AirBnbs? Iām always amazed at my sitters that do this full time (and most of mine do). Itās a lot to juggle!

I use airbnbs or hotels in the gaps. For the period 15 Dec 2022 - 15 April 2023 (16 mths) I will have used airbnb accommodation for a total of 31 nights / 1 month (2 weeks in France and 2 weeks in England). I donāt always manage to book catsitting assignments back to back so I sometimes went away for holidays in France or England. That said, my whole life is a holiday 
I have really enjoyed my first year of being a nomadic cat sitter thanks to Trusted Housesitters and one other platform for the 2 sits in France. Iāll be doing a repeat sit for one of the hosts in France this year, and she said that she will transfer to THS.

Itās just one never ending adventure.
That doesnāt mean that there arenāt challenges,
Every beautiful ocean has its storms.
We just get through.
I am Airbnb a lot more now and meeting some extraordinary people. Itās incredible.

Weāre starting our next one in CO, then to Idaho, Portland, and Iāve got 4 in Washington. Iām hoping to get one in Vancouver and Victoria but noticed those are hard to get especially as a family of 5 but you never know. I doubted we would get as many as we have but somehow managed to pull it off.
