I have to say your term “Party hamster” did make me laugh! 
I agree it’s always the hardest part saying goodbye, we finished another sit yesterday and there were a few tears when it was time to say goodbye 
…. each and every one leaves a mark on our hearts

@Angela_L maybe I should start counting the plants in 2023! There was one house where we kept finding more and more plants. Fortunately most weren’t the type to need much water!

We once had a sit with many, many, many Bonsai trees and two adorable furry friends … I “claimed” our new friends and delighted in turning the greenery over to my husband.

I’ve had that happen too! I recently discovered a plant after nearly 2 weeks in the house!

We joined THS in May specifically to look for housesits in Europe while we were travelling and had our first sit in August, since then

We also joined KHS and of the 3.5 months we are back we have 2.5 months of housesits … I’m very pleased with how it has worked out and love having pets around.
We’ve also started getting bookings for this years trip to Europe.

We joined this past summer and my wife and I have completed four sits on the US east coast Sept-Nov. Four dogs and one cat. I’m doing one solo this coming weekend while my wife is on vacation in Mexico.
