A Canceled Sit

I was scheduled for a sit that has been canceled. It was canceled over a week ago. However, it has not canceled on my account.

Each time I attempt to apply for a sit, the dates are grayed out bc I’m already scheduled during this day even though the sit has been cancelled.

How do I remedy this situation?

If you are still seeing the sit in your dashboard, it sounds like the host didn’t unconfirm you. I believe if you can provide some sort of proof of communication between you and the host that the sit was cancelled, membership services can cancel it on their end and you wouldn’t need to wait for the host to do it themselves. Asking to speak to a human on the chat bot will be the fastest way to resolve it via membership services rather than emailing them.

On the website, you will see a ‘help’ sign on the bottom right of the page and clicking that will start a chat. On the app click on ‘me’ and you will see ‘Help and Support’

@KC1102 is right, it’s up to the host to cancel it, as it is them that created the dates originally. However, we had a pet owner that unfortunately lost their dog, so rather than bother them and ask them to cancel it, I just emailed @support and explained what had happened and asked them to look at our messages, and they cancelled it for us instead straight away.
