As a player, I love it when a house has a guitar (or two…). Any other musicians here?

No other musician housesitter here?! I am thrilled when I arrive and find a piano, electric drum kit or guitar. The photo is from one of my very favourite regular sits, where, up in the attic, it’s like a guitar shop, and I am always encouraged by the owners to play!

We are not musicians but we have had several different sits in U.K. with music rooms - guitars , electric pianos and drum kits .
At all of them we were encouraged by the owners to play if we wished to .
There have also been many sits with state of the art gym equipment exercise bikes, , running machines, rowing machines etc which we didn’t use ( but that’s another topic ) 
Likewise, about music rooms and gyms 
at some sits I’ve had. Personally, I’m not musical. I tortured a clarinet as a kid and wouldn’t want to relive that.

yeah I’ve sat at homes with music rooms but I’m not a musician personally.

We had a few housesits with pianos and even one with huge harp! But we are not musicians and sadly I never played any instrument. One of my best friends is a musician, he’d be in heaven, especially sitting in a house full of the guitars! He’s also a photographer and recently done a video and photoshoot for a famous musician with an enormous collection of guitars. He said it was amazing.
Personally, I love when I can use some gym equipment on our sits.

Always happy when there’s a piano since we haven’t had one of our own (as no home) for about 8 years. It’s a treat to be able to play once in a while.

My husband plays piano, so it was really nice when we had a sit over Christmas last year to be able to play some festive songs.

We aren’t very musical, we do have a regular sit with a piano we are allowed to play. Younger son has taught himself a few simple tunes from YouTube videos as well as a couple he learnt at school.

Yet another reason I’d love to be able to search for key words, eg. ‘piano’. I always miss mine when I’m away from home, and rush in and play for an hour or so once I get back - usually before I’ve even unloaded the car. It would be great to be able to search for sits with pianos. And Viszlas.
