A thread about considerate sitters

Some sitters have made a special effort with looking after my pets, as a Home Owner, in the past and it’s lovely to see how caring and thoughtful they can be.
I’m paying it forward by getting up really early so the French Bulldog can enjoy a long walk but in the cool. Temperatures here on the Costa Blanca are already 20 and beyond at the peak. In the heat this breed really struggles so I’m keeping the Home Owner reassured that the dog is getting exercise but in the cool of the day.

When I lived in the UAE I saw the camels taken out to sea early morning to get them exercised for the races! They would have the young camels on the shore so the females would want to swim back to them.
Seaside chilling.

Any other Home Owners able to share things that sitters did that showed they really cared?

Our last sitters had our 20 year old cat to look after. He was an outdoor cat who spent a lot of time sleeping indoors during the day in his old age. While they were there he stopped going outside to poop and his litter box technique left a lot to be desired. When they reported this I told them to just keep him out of the house. They kindly made him a bed of towels on the picnic table and fed him there so he could be near the house and felt safe. I was touched when they sent this photo.

Sadly, we had to put him to sleep 6 weeks later.

I’m sorry to hear that you lost your beloved cat, @KChev. Your sitters sound very kind.
