Is premium membership worth the extra?

We are up for renewal in a month and have previously been paying $339CAD for a Premium membership. But right now, we are torn about spending that extra $120 a year for the premium over the standard membership. We don’t care about the lounge passes so it’s really just about the insurance. If we were able to get the kind of sits in France and Italy that we are looking for, the insurance would be worth the investment, but for now, it seems we can only find sits in North America (because obviousl…
