Acronyms spelled out

The whole thing goes, i before e except after c, or when sounding like a, as in neighbor and weigh.

The variation on that, “TY” bugs me whenever I see it. First thought is “Who’s Ty? What does he have to do with this coversation?” Second thought is “Seriously, you can’t even type out thank you?” (Like, srsly :rofl: )

I was going to add the “sounded as A” part too. “Their” kinda sounds like neighbour & weigh.

I have never heard about ending sentences with periods being aggressive! I was like, “since when??” I wonder what semicolons signify then; I am a lover of them! :laughing:
