Haven’t seen these lovely folk @MiqueFrançois since we sat for their menagerie in 2023! Had a spectacular riverside lunch & catch up & arrived in true Thai style with a smiley Tuk Tuk ![]()

Love seeing stories like this!
What a special reunion @Cuttlefish and in a lovely location. I had a friend living there and flew out of Melbourne just when the tsunami hit Dec 26, 2004! My goodness, Bangkok airport was chaotic but we still managed to get our flights to Chiang Mai. Loved our time there. We did have to change some of our other plans as couldn’t go to Phuket but did enjoy time on Koh Samui, although water was not fit to swim in and was still quite rough.
Wow!

How special! Great pics, you look fabulous!
@Cuttlefish, what a wonderful experience, location & photo. When we read such posts then we feel inspired to further stretch the geographic reach of our housesitting adventures - eg Asia. Wow, enjoy!
I visited Chang Mai years ago - fabulous place! We stayed right by the river. Would love to return to Thailand with my boys some day.
I happen to know these guys, so based on information from an absolute reliable source I have to make a minor correction. This photo proves that you’ve met these guys 5 months after the sit you mentioned on Koh Tao.
(It was great to have seen you again. Happy that this occasion suddenly came up.)
