@AudreyT I’ve never encountered a scenario like this, how outrageous!
Just out of curiously, were you asked to perform and business related tasks, such as opening and closing the winery, cleaning up after these “parties”, etc? If so, it seems like the HO is using THS for employment needs.

It wasn’t implied that we clean up and vacate the kitchen, so it is ready by 10 am … but often time the staff left a mess after the parties … most bizarre THS experience to day

You’ve given me food for thought on accepting local sits. I’ve been tempted to do so occasionally, for example when having large number of guests at my own home from out of town (they can stay happily at my house while I sit nearby). I always thought about the positives, in terms of meeting fellow cat lovers in the community. But there is also the risk of a situation like yours.

So happy to report that THS is kindly following up on all of the concerns and will take proper action, once our review window expires .. once we described the details over email and sent the video of the happening, they were rightfully outraged as well.. that was truly “a sit from he’ll”
