Being let down by a sitter

@judif , you may want to go back and leave reviews for those past sitters. As you note, this is probably why they haven’t left feedback for you. As @Southernsitter suggests, after you have left a review you could then ask those sitters if they would leave feedback on the sit they did for you. Reviews are, in effect, the currency exchanged here. A review is the only thank-you a sitter expects. @Colin points out that In general, if sitters see that a HO tends not to leave reviews, they may not want to apply.

However, because these were a while back and you have since left and received so many lovely reviews, in addition to having adorable dogs, a comfortable home, lots of great pictures and a nice location, your sit is still very appealing. So sorry you were disappointed by an undependable sitter. I hope you find someone perfect, so you can enjoy your upcoming holiday. Please let us know if you have success.

@judif In addition to the helpful suggestions you’ve had from @Southernsitter @Colin and @mars, I will add that if any of the sits showing on the app without reviews are from sits cancelled because of the pandemic, you can send the details to @Lucy-B and she’ll have them taken care of. Any homeowner with similar situations because of the pandemic can make this request.

@Snowbird that’s a great point and you are absolutely right there, this goes for any sits that haven’t gone ahead. If the sit didn’t happen then understandably there’s no sit to leave a review/feedback for so our Membership Services team can help with unconfirming these.
