There is a sit open for a few months and I am interested in offering to cover part of this sit . The problem : I am committed to a different four day sit during the beginning of the longer one so the site is not allowing me to contact the longer sit HO. Is there any way to override this limitation ?

No. Itās an unfortunate side effect of the newly introduced āblocking datesā function.

Unfortunately THS has taken the position that once you have accepted a sit you are to be prevented from having any communication with any other potential sit within those dates. They prevent you from even seeing if there are any applications that have been received. It seems to be an odd focus for an organization supposedly based on communication.
Yes, they do that in the web interface. But you can still see that in the app.

I only use the app and the sit I lost was ādeadā and I was completely locked out. I hope they got a sitter but there is no way for me to know.
