I just checked the rest of the pictures, out of curiosity, and there are no pictures of the house itself. Just a balcony and landscapes.
Symbolism, and floors are getting very popular. I saw another one. A travel bag on a terrace chair and a bit of terrace floor.

I saw a listing yesterday that had 8 pictures of a cat, and nothing else, not a single picture of the house.

One cover picture I saw yesterday: 2 dogs playing? Fighting? Showing their teeth, but of course that might be happy.

How did that “slip through the net “ ?
Aren’t all new listings supposed to be reviewed before being approved by THS and must include 5 internal photos of the home ?
Or are the counting a photo of a cat indoors as an internal photo of the home ?

An interesting topic you’ve started.
I’ve noticed that some listings lead with an impressive panoramic view of the location they’re in. I sometimes get sucked in by the splendid view and then, the remaining home pictures look like pure clutter and chaos and I quickly back-pedal!

Just this morning I see listings with cover photos of:
- A bathroom sink close up. A nice sink, but is that really the best thing about the house??
- The front door, from inside the house.
- A front door close-up, from outside.
- A wall, showing part of 2 pictures.
- A hallway with boxes and clothing thrown on top.

Yesterday, I saw a disgustingly messy bed in shadows, with a pile of laundry next to it. Made me shudder. I didn’t click on the other photos to see what horrors might’ve awaited.

I think many HOs don’t look at their listing, so they don’t realize what photo shows as the cover one.

That should be pretty obvious, even when just looking at the Editing-view. Changing the order of pics is also super easy.
Above the pic there’s also a reminder to include at least one photo of each of the listed rooms.
