"Drop them a line" with a decline

Hi, the THS system recommends a friendly “drop them a line” with withdrawing an application.

  • Who does it regularly?
  • Who gets them also?
  • What are your thoughts when you get a decline with no line?

I pretty much always close out with a friendly note. I only received 50% of the time. I find many sits are a bit callous with no obligation to keep the community friendly. It only takes a sentence to thank someone for an application. So many people seem they don’t care and only thinking of themselves.

It wears a bit on the cheerfulness of the community, in my opinion. Thanks for reading and sharing

As a sitter, we receive many invitations to sit. I always write something when I decline.

We have been declined with no note. I think it is a bit odd, but life goes on. I am not worried about it. I don’t take it personally. People are busy.
