This has been asked for before, at least 2 years ago and I would suggest it ain’t gonna happen!
I love the idea but the last time we tried asking for that, THS eliminated our option to search for Europe. 
. It would come in real handy because of the vast number of UK sits vs mainland Europe sits. It’s impossible to be able to set up notifications for every mainland European country.
But that comparison would only apply if 90-95% of US sits were in Florida. If that were the case, I’d agree that option should be available, too.
I thought the same about blind reviews, but was happy to be wrong.

This is all they need to change. Have a drop down list of all of Europe (which includes UK) and then you can deselect the countries you don’t want to search in. Eg: Here I have deselected UK. For everyone else who thinks my suggestion is nonsense, you can just keep UK in your search. It’s that simple!

The point (for me) is that because UK is no longer a member of the EU, then UK is no longer a EU-partner of the Schengen Borders Code. The rules for short-term visits to most EU Member States are set out in the Schengen Borders Code. This allows stays within the Schengen area of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
But it is well pointed out before in this thread that some non-EU-members are in fact partners in the Schengen Borders Code, like Norway, Iceland and Switzerland (?). So a search should therefore be Schengen and not EU.
For travellers it is significant to be able to plan travel between Schengen-countries, and it is more vital - and implies immigration legislation - than «why can’t I search for US without Florida».
The UK never acceded to the Schengen treaty, which is mainly about abolishing border checkpoints.
The main difference that Brexit makes with how it was before is that there is no longer free movement. So yes, the time limits on visits. And there is now the potential issue of petsitting as “work”.

I agree. The only reason is to simplify the search, not only to exclude UK when searching for any European country but also to remove the few interferences from continental Europe when searching for UK seats. In fact, I would also like to have Ireland (as an island, not a country) separate from Great Britain I get everything mixed up on my map search from my ipad, maybe it’s more precise on the computer.
You can search for Ireland individually. Also, Scotland, Wales and England can be searched individually. Great Britain is not a search criteria, or are you confusing it with United Kingdom?
No, I am not confusing it. I would like to have Great Britain as a search criterion. I am referring to the map search. What I now see when I search for Europe and amplify the Great Britain area is a mixture of all UK sits, plus some sits in Ireland, plus some sits in places like Belgium, France, The Netherlands… The travel arrangements are different and I would like to be able to differentiate that in the map. Maybe it’s just me because I am using an Ipad.
@Newpetlover is correct, Great Britain and United Kingdom are not the same thing. Great Britain is the main Island of the British Isles - i.e. the one made up of England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom includes Northern Ireland. The British Isles also includes the Republic of Ireland.
It’s a little like wanting to exclude UK from a “Mainland Europe” search because of the additional complications of crossing the sea, as someone mentioned earlier in the discussion. Except in this case Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain, so it would be the correct geographic name.
I fully understand the practical reasons for requesting a search for Europe split in different ways. I think a Schengen/non-Schengen search could require more maintenance from THS as the countries involved could change. This might explain their reluctance.
@PandAonTour 's suggestion of a drop down list to select countries is a good one, but I get the feeling THS current software might not support this. If only it did we would all be able to create much more useful searches.

No, I’m not the OP, but I want to see all of Europe - EU or non-EU, without the UK.

I’d also LOVE to see Europe x-UK as a filter option. The quantity clutters it up when you really only want something on the continent and using the map to search around the UK is annoying. BUT! Not just EU as there are many non-EU countries in Europe so they should still be included in the Europe filter.
I currently have a search for 15 May - 31 July 2025 for Europe. There are 95 sits showing, but EVERY SINGLE ONE is in the UNITED KINGDOM! Please, just give us a Europe search.
