Hi, any feedback on my listing would be great. I have had this listed for quite some time. Is it hard to get sitters over Easter? How can I find a sitter? I have never had an issue finding a sitter. With this sit coming up next week, I am concerned we will not find any one.

Hi, @Jessa! In general it’s more difficult for holidays. I’d offer to help but I’ve already semi-accepted a sit over that weekend. Your listing looks very good. How long has it been up? Have you had any applicants at all?
Usually my sits are taken not long after posting. This one has been up over a month. I boosted it a week and a half ago. I got one app a couple of days ago, accepted it within an hour or two and gave them my number in case they had any questions. I have not had a response. I have also reached out to invite many sitters that are somewhat local.

I took a look at your listing. It sounds like a nice sit! The only things I would really suggest is to
move info from your introduction to more relevant spaces (e.g about the home & responsibilities) so the intro is shorter. Remember you are really trying to sell your self in your intro and clearly explain what is on offer, rather than talking about how your dogs need carrying down steps, your parents live across the street & that you want no parties. That can be spoken about in your house & responsibilities part. A good intro doesn’t tell a sitter anymore than what is being offered and why somebody should sit for you. This is especially important for you, as you are seeking somebody to sit over Easter. Why should they choose you??
I would shorten the into to something that hooks readers in the first few lines. For example;
Do you want to experience (what ever grove city offers, e.g: bustling streets, nature reserves, etc) over the Easter break? Are you a reliable person happy to care for 3 snuggly small dogs and a lovely cat? Then this is the sit for you! Hi I’m Jessica, and my sit can offer a relaxing and enjoyable stay over Easter.
There’s no need to mention anything else besides that in your intro.
I would also suggest adding more info in your home and location section about what’s on offer in the area to see and do, as at the moment it’s rather sparse.
Your title is okay but is a hot tub really the most attractive thing about this sit? Maybe titling it “relaxing Easter break in grove city” might be better.
