Wow! I’d have thrown myself at your sit - because I’m currently focusing on the Seattle area. Except the dates are unlucky; I picked up a Christmas sit three months ago. It’s sad that you’re quitting the site, because what you’re offering a sitter looks great to this UK-based Washington-dreamer…

@Sarah24 I’m glad you found a solution. Your home looks great, and Wallingford is an excellent neighborhood. I’m sorry that THS has not come through for you this year. Have a great trip over the holidays.
I am also in Seattle, waiting to hear if a repeat sitter can do a sit in the new year. I have a much longer sit in the spring that I hope another prior sitter can do. I worry about having to list my sits live - I can definitely tell that finding that great match is much harder now - too many sits/expensive travel costs/companies RTO/new sitters attracted by the FREE TRAVEL advertising who don’t really get it. I just hope there are still enough folks to make it worthwhile.
