Please just say no to this! I like children and have a few of my own but all the things that could go wrong for you with this! What if one of them falls and breaks a arm? Or the 14 year old sneaks out with friends?? This is just too much of a expectation plus what kind of parents leave their children with a stranger!

I can’t believe some people think this is ok.
It’s a massive child protection issue.
I try not to be judgemental but anyone who would consider this as a childcare option for their children is either neglectful or lives on a totally different planet.
If social care found out about this there would be immediate ramifications!!

@Finchy , you can not be seriously thinking of agreeing to this, new sitter or not? In no way is it acceptable. They should be reported to THS.
Even if they had them stay ALONE in same place they are staying first night, a hotel room or at relatives home, it would still be wrong, but it is definitely not part of a pet sit.
I am surprised you even have to ask, just say NO.
