My husband and I are just beginning our TrustedHousesitters journey and are looking forward to building our sitter resume with short stays close to home—starting with a few in nearby Colorado. We’re lifelong animal lovers and former pet parents, having said goodbye in recent years to our two beloved companions: Adso, our rescue cat, and Murphy, our Golden Retriever.
We’re experienced travelers who spend about half the year in our fifth-wheel camper—whether staying close to home in Nebraska, exploring the Great Plains, heading south for the winter, or wandering across the U.S. We’ve also been longtime Airbnb hosts, welcoming thousands of guests into our home over nearly 13 years. For the past two winters we have served as Work Campers at RV resorts in Arizona. We truly enjoy slow travel and love getting to know the communities we visit.

I’ve already recommended the site to two of our sons and daughters-in-law for finding sitters for their dog and cats. A dog in CO and a couple of cats who will soon be moving to the PNW.
