No, I haven’t dealt with that from a HO.
Such behaviors indicate a build up of stress and difficulty handling emotions. Regardless, it is not on. You are safely removed now?
Hi @PVGemini
He was annoyed by me putting covered excess cat food in the fridge (which we agree previously) and I stupidity left the fridge door open when I saw the HO return and struggling with bags.
Ahhhh @richten1 so sorry you had to go through this. It’s so degrading.
A client once shouted at me in front of everyone in the office. There and then I gave notice, I won’t be shouted at. I gave a handover and left. A month later they asked me to please reconsider, as the new person didn’t work out. I agreed, on my terms, and not in direct contact with the shouter. They’re still a client, about 7 years later. Turns out they went through a lot of stress too, so it wasn’t all personal. But still, it hurt.
Thanks. A difficult review I feel as the HO took me for 2 meals out, cooked 2 meals for me and provided groceries but I can’t ignore this and other incidents like the HO telling me they monitored their smart lights and I’d left one on at night!
Toxic behaviour at its best. Carrot and stick. You hit someone, and to make up for it, you’re overly nice. I’d be cautious if someone behaves like that.
It must have been really awkward and annoying.
The closest I have experienced is the husband shouting at the wife in my presence and it was really awkward. Fortunately, it was just before they left for their trip.
