I keep getting jobs offer during the fires in Los Angeles why r they still sending me offers which isn’t safe to work there and also no place where lots of homes destroyed
I don’t think you can get an answer for your question on this forum. This is not a forum about job offers. Only people offering you those jobs can answer your question.

I live in the LA area and it’s a really large area. I’m sure you’re not getting “jobs” in Pacific Palisades or the Pasadena Altadena areas. Other areas not affected by fires are fine.

U don’t understand my commmentd. I was saying why are they sending me . I me/‘ this housesitter/petsitter isn’t a job then what is this ?? Work ?? Earn money isn’t job ??
Are you talking about sit invitations to house sit through Trusted House Sitters or something else ?
There have been several scams involving house sitting sites reported this week, perhaps you have received one of those ?
No one gets paid as a sitter on the genuine Trusted House sitter site.

Yes, that’s a job but this is not the right forum. As others have said THS doesn’t offer jobs. Nobody is paid for petsitting here.
Regarding your safety concerns, wouldn’t they be better solved if you talk to the people who are offering those jobs and research the safety of the area?
There’s also the option of not accepting those jobs.

I bet the invitations you are receiving are not from the areas affected by the fire, after all LA is a huge city.
This is a platform for free house and pet sitting, based on an exchange model: You stay in the house owner’s home for free and in exchange you take care of it and their pets.

I understand the differences THS is separate from owner. I know. Abt it but one. Of u say something else. Thst isn’t what I meant abt job. As THS. someone misunderstood me. I was saying abt the owner who sent me message to ask me to work for them but I heard on the news the Los Angeles areas have bad fire there so how am I supsetovl ke whst Los Angeles areas which areas is effect by the fire and what isn’t …. You may not know in advance which area of LA the HO’s are, but it shouldn’t be hard to simply ask them if you are even remotely interested. As to where the fires are, I’m pretty sure the areas are mentioned on the news and internet.

Dfbutterfly, I’m in the LA area and just trying to help you out. LA is a very large city area and only a small portion is affected by the fires. Yes, the media is covering it 24/7 and it’s horrible, but I’m sure the HO’s who are reaching out to you are not in those areas. You could always ask the HO’s what area of LA they live to help you decide if you want to come here.

Yes I do want to be in Los Angeles areas and I’m trying to find place to move there cuz of my dreams and goals to work there but now I’m hopeless cuz of misunderstanding etc causing me down
If you want to live here, then maybe this site is not the place for you. Some HO’s will reach out to sitters they like after reading their profile and ask them if they are interested in watching their pets. Maybe this happened to you. If it is, ask the HO which part of LA they live. They don’t need to give you the actual address to know the area. It could be the San Fernando valley, West LA, San Gabriel Valley, the foothills, Orange County, Long Beach, etc. it is quite vast with very different price points too.
Perhaps running your questions through Google Translate would help folks here understand what you are trying to ask?

It might be worth speaking to Membership Services about this, as any help offered here on the Forum comes from fellow members, who (unless they’re from the area) won’t have any information about the situation in Los Angeles.
It sounds like moving to Los Angeles is really important to you, and it must be hard to know what sits are available and safe at this uncertain time.

I don’t know if this helps you but Google Maps has a really useful information.
It is showing the areas in LA that are currently affected by the fires and is updated regularly ( every 20 mins ) it also has links to other websites with up to date information.
