How do you stay on budget when you're travelling?

@Silversitters, thanks for heads-up. We’ve spend last few summers in UK. Never heard if toby carvery, will checkout. Sunday roast is a lovely british custom. Noted multiple uk supermarkets have “aldi price match” so guess aldi is deemed price competitive.

If we want to try local restaurants, especially in tourist areas, we go at lunch. Oftentimes the lunch menu is cheaper and is just smaller portions. We do this whether or not we are sitting. We also check for discounts on things we want to do. Such as, on sweet deals, just had 2 hour sunset cruise with live music for 38.95 usd total for 2 people.
