Is there any way to easily export, print, or email the Welcome Guide? I’d like to print it out to have a hard copy for my sitters but it doesn’t look like there’s any way to do that. Am I missing something?
You can’t do it from the phone app, you have to log in on the web site, click on Listing at the top. On that page, select Welcome Guide, scroll to the bottom and you’ll see a button Print Welcome Guide.
Yes, from computer go to Your Welcome Guide, then Edit Welcome Guide, then scroll to bottom, do not edit anything. Click the Print Welcome Guide.
Then a Print button appears in upper right.
The format isn’t amazing but it works. You can print to a printer or save to a PDF and share via email or WhatApp if you like. Mine is really long (28 pages) because my house is quirky, I added some pics and I have 2 animals and made a very complete guide.
My welcome guide is in Google Docs instead of the platform. The format is better, I can share it prior to the video chat (with house codes etc removed), I can print it, I can even leave a translated version for sitters whose native language is not English. Works much better, and it’s easily searchable.
I have a friend staying at my place for an upcoming short getaway, and I just created an abbreviated (since she knows my home and the neighborhood better than a THS sitter necessarily will) Word document version of the WG. For some reason I thought the WG couldn’t be printed. Oh well! I might just expand this version and use it as a shared document for future THS sitters as well, since it’s much easier to work with.
