How many stars ?
I donât usually like to jump in on these kinds of threads but I donât think this is very good advice either.
Leave a fair review, I wouldnât worry about future hosts right now. This is a learning experience for you, and them.
Sure, because youâve got 100 5 star review to offset it. Not the same situation when the member had a limited review history.
I wrote an honest review. Should I post the review here for feedback prior to sending, or is that cringe since itâs puclic? I mean, Iâm going to post it anyway? I just want to make sure Iâm doing it right, and I donât know why I feel so bad about doing it.
You could copy and paste it into something like Googleâs Gemini AI and ask for feedback e.g. is it too personal, or emotive? Itâs a useful tool and you donât have to accept any suggestions, or improvements.
It is not really public when you post it in THS. You can not for example put it in search engine and have it be found (aka you cant google it). It is unlikely that it gets connected to you or the HO.
Some people do and the feedback is very useful as you can get different points of view both from sitters and HOs. In the end, it will be your decision but you will have the opportunity of seeing different angles and prevent misinterpretation or backfiring. There are also people on the forum who are really good at wording reviews, some even deal with them at a professional level.
Up to you.
There is no need to post the review here unless you truly want and need suggestions for âtweakingâ. I am confident that your review is reasonable based on your communication here on the forum.
