Ok so I’m loving my job of looking after everyone’s pets be they fish, fowl, creepy crawlies, dogs, cats, rabbits… you get my drift..
But are you still hankering, like me, for your own pets that you can lock up and leave?
Well I think I have the answer!
It may be a bit fishy but I promise low maintenance!
A post was split to a new topic: How old is the oldest pet you’ve looked after?
At every sit, there are always moments when we’re not around the pets.
Some pets handle that better than others.
We enjoy exploring what can help each pet feel more at ease in those moments. One thing we’ve discovered is that YouTube can be a wonderful source of relaxation for many pets.
We bring along old tablets where we preload a variety of YouTube videos. When we’re out, we can stream these for the pets — if they enjoy it or when there is a tv, we just put YouTube on.
It’s always fascinating to observe their individual preferences!
What has worked best for your pets when you’re not at home? We’d love to hear your experiences and tips!
What a great idea! That is so very considerate and charmingly attentive. I went to one sit and the dog had his own account on Netflix! He loved all the doggie films of course!
If you search on YouTube for “tv for cats” or “cat tv” there are hours and hours of entertainment for our feline charges.
And dogs? I’m quite dog focused.. any that would appeal to both? I often have a mixed audience! Thank you for the cats up! That’s a great resource I look forward to trying.. my tech savvy will be surely stretched to its limits!
I sometimes play these for my cat Walter! Have you found any of the videos to be particularly popular with your feline friends?
