I think I got stuck on the ambulance being called. I guess if OP declined medical attention, there was no cost (?), but ambulances are notoriously expensive in the US.
There are no medical bills.

I have not received compensation to date. I have submitted a claim to THS.
I did look into AirBnBs. The average was 4,000 in the area for 12 days!!! Hotels are cheaper.
I looked daily for a sit. No sits within an hour. I was not in Monterey. I said Monterey County. And no sits covering the days of the sit within 2 hours. Thanks for offering assistance though. I already had booked a hotel locally as soon as I saw an okay price.

I too was recently injured at HO. Injury sent me to the ER where they wanted to admit me but I had to leave AMA because the HO had no emergency contact. After I contacted the HO and due to the severity of the injury the HO changed their flight return and did not inform me they were coming home until they were 5 hours away. THS did not provide any assistance and spent more time covering themselves and quoting the code of conduct than they did worrying about my injury. I am following to see your outcome and hope it is favorable,
