I think respectful to a sitter to make a video chat with him/her as planned.
Are we allowed to plan only 1 video chat ? Why, when we can receive (only) 5 applications, would not we plan 2 or 3 video calls ? 3 applications can sound very interesting.
Why we would have to say yes or no to the 1st one ? And decline the other 1 (or 2) without listening to them ?
The 1st exchange may be the best one, but how for know that if I don’t listen to other candidates?
Video chats are much more interesting on both sides. A profile, a listing are general a video chat is much more personal.
I don’t want to have the knife under my throat . If a sitter can’t accept i listen to another one, the same day, or later on, ok. That’s his/her choice. I’m free to do what I planned go do without blackmail ( if you don’t say yes to me now, i’ll decline…)
the other applicant(s( could think u’m very rude not to call them as planned. They could lose trust in owners.
A sitter who is not chosen after a video chat can be invited privately later on. For another sit other dates .
