I’d definitely reporting the matter to THS as it sounds like the HO has no place being on THS.
This makes me think whether he’s trying to make you take off your clothes, unsettling

Another vote from me for “get out now”… I hope by now you have talked with THS member services about this. As already stated by others – major violation of terms, and I would not trust the owner to either turn off the cameras or disclose where they all are. You do not have to stay, no matter how much you like the pet.

@Cat-ophile no the one I mentioned just requested female sitters. No idea if he had cameras, it just seemed odd to me so I checked the previous reviews, mostly younger women but not all. Maybe he thinks females are tidier or something but also there are weirdos out there, and I sit with my husband so I didn’t qualify anyway

This is shocking and no it is not normal. Report him to THS, he needs to be banned from the platform. Report him to the police, who knows what he’s been doing with the images he’s been filming of you and potentially the other female sitters. I wouldn’t even finish the sit!

It’s a violation of just about every rule in the book - so you should contact member support and have the HO blacklisted.
I completely agree with this advice. Also, the warning that he may be putting video of you naked on the Internet. This is a criminal matter, as well as being a violation of THS rules.
I also agree with the person who said to stand up for yourself. I am an older woman and know how hard that was for me when I was younger, but you really must do this for your own safety. Good luck!
@Katie what is the problem with “female” as I was one who used it. Personally interchangeable with woman to me so I’m at a loss with your comment.
Actually when I think about it a bit more the term “female” came from the hosts request which is likely why I also used it.
The tone is rude when women are described as female, female is more appropriate when describing animals or a dead body maybe. For example, I see some reviews on websites such as Google, when a disgruntled customer complains about a particular member of female waiting staff, when the customer refers the staff as “female”, it comes across as mean, rude, and condescending to me.
There is nothing wrong with it. Ignore them.
I want to repeat what I said in my earlier comment: This is a CRIME. The old term for it is being a “peeping tom” and the laws against this behavior now include “video voyeurism” which is what this guy is doing. He should be reported to the police as well as THS. And this would allow you to find out if he has saved or distributed photos or videos of you, as the police would seize his electronic devices and search them.

Is this HO new to the platform? It seems like someone would have reported the issue already. I would cover the camers. HO didn’t bother to read THS guidelines. Did they disclose any cameras at all in their Welcome Guide? So sorry you have had this experience.
I do worry about pets. They are my responsibility and I would figure out how to salvage the situation while trying to maintain privacy.
