Look carefully at Amenities section

We have noticed that some HO do not provide anywhere to store our clothes. This is not an issue for us on short sits but anything from 14 days can be a problem especially where there is little space. We have checked on other sits AMENITIES page that some HO hardly include any details in this section.
Has anyone else had the experience of a long sit with nowhere to store clothes ?

The amenities section is a relatively new addition so older listings may not have noticed or updated the section.

We have been on sits with no storage so always ask before confirming. We mostly travel by car and have a portable garment rail we can bring if there is room to put it up.

I always ask about bed size if it isn’t mentioned.

Some sitters don’t mind living out of a suitcase but I am not one of them.

A portable garment rail is a great idea providing it doesn’t take up much room. Thanks. Can you recommend any from UK ?

Cheap and cheerful from IKEA, B&M, Argos etc. They are light and don’t take up much room.
Ours is a professional one but it is heavy.
Also consider the hooks that hang over the top of a door. They hold multiple clothes hangers but take care not to damage the paintwork.
Pack clothes in stackable storage bags which double up as drawers.
Can you tell I like my home comforts :joy:

Our whole family uses packing cubes that stay in our suitcases.
