London is hard to get. Very competitive. When I joined THS several years ago I had no problem. Now I hardly see them before getting closed out by the 5 application limit. We pay full price for partial access to listings.

London sits are tough to get - I had a really great 3 week sit in Putney and then a few 3 night fill-in sits in Richmond and North London. Iā€™ve also sat with a repeat for a week and 10 days in Hayes which is a south suburb - about 40 minutes by train from London Bridge or longer with red bus transfers. So think suburban.

Totally! I joined in 2018, and everything was much easier then. Now, itā€™s getting more and more difficult to apply in cities such as London, Madrid, or Lisbon. The posts last literally minutes (if not seconds). The no-overlapping policy doesnā€™t help either.

I agree London sits are tough to get. Im considering London, as well as London suburs, or even a bit furtherā€¦

You deserve to find something if ā€˜Karmaā€™ is operating after the horrendous ā€˜spikes on a chairā€™ sit you recently escaped fromā€¦. I hope something turns up :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Brighton/Woking/Weybridge/Guildford all have good public transport links. Best wishesā€¦.

Couldnā€™t agree more :ok_hand:

Have a look on the house sitter Uk FB pages @MyrCar and post your availability, a few pics and a testimonial and see if that works. As @BonnyinBrighton says, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Kent all have ā€œsuburbsā€ of London. Or just go for it and take a FlixBus or off peak train somewhere further afield :raised_hands:t3:

I petsat for almost 3 weeks in Brighton and loved it. We took the 1 hour train ride to London, twice, and also went to Bath and Dorset. It was a great location and a really fun town.
