Hey all!
I am housesitting in Swindon, UK, for the next 6,5 weeks (23rd Jan until 10th March 2025). If anyone is in the area and would like to meet up during this time, then let me know. I’m planning some day trips to Bath and surrounding villages while I’m here, but am also happy to meet up for a meal or a drink

I’m in Worcester 31st Jan to 20th Feb, so could do a meet somewhere in between like Gloucester. By the way you should check out Cirencester while you’re in the area, the whole town centre is like a postcard! Also Westonbirt Arboretum.
Very glad @robinstent mentioned Cirencester, it’s a gem of a cute quintessential town. Was just about to say the same! Also Marlborough and Hungerford are both worth a mooch for independent shopping & coffee meet ups; plus Marlborough has great charity shops. Bradford on Avon is also worth visiting, a mini Bath on the river with lots of art galleries. If you need a real freehouse pub with local beers & delicious food, then my sister owns the King & Queen in the village of Longcot 20 mins from Swindon. #wiltshirewandering
@robinstent @ZGlencoe We live in Cheltenham so I am between Swindon and Worcester. I work in a school but could maybe meet up with you if you meet on a weekend or outside school hours.
Failing that we are in Worcestershire from 14th-22nd Feb and we could also travel to Swindon on a weekend.
Thanks @Cuttlefish for mentioning your sister’s pub in Longcot as every year when in the UK, I stay with friends who live between Wantage and Faringdon and we usually have a meal out in one of the neighbouring pubs. I’ll put it on the list!!
Please DM me when you do as I’d love you to meet her, my folks are only Hungerford ish too and my best buddy lives in Childrey so let me know when you’re back
