Hi. We have now agreed a sit for the end of August and the host said that her account is expiring now and she will not be renewing it. Is it possible for us to still get a review from her at the end of August?

No @Kiupa you will not get a review. The sit becomes a private sit if you agree to still do it. You will have no backup from THS , no Welcome Guide except information owners may give you on arrival or email you and will not be able to access any inbox messages you have from them. Take photos of their message saying they will not be renewing to provide to THS who can cancel the sit for you.
You have no obligation to sit for these owners and have plenty of time to replace this sit.

No they won’t be able to review you but you can them.
Unless it’s a repeat sit that you’ve been to before I wouldn’t be so keen unless they renew their subscription. How could they give an up to date Welcome Guide and access to their information. I understand they could print a copy but something just not sitting well with, what protection have you got up to and during sit if they no longer members.

They won’t be able to officially confirm you as sitters if they don’t have auto renew turned on .
This will be a private sit - so any THS rules like no third parties , no internal cameras will be for you to agree yourselves with no back up from THS .
If you are Premium members you won’t get the sit cancellation protection for a private sit .
Are these are hosts that you have previously sat for and know well ?

Since we are quite new, we of course need reviews. She must have her reasons for not renewing his membership. I don’t want to disappoint her or cause any inconvenience…
She is causing an inconvenience to you. You get no review and you say you are new and need one. You now have no protection and she could have hidden indoor cameras, have someone stay in the extra bedroom for a night or two. Accuse you of something and go after you directly. No Welcome Manual so you don’t know what will be expected once you arrive.
Does she have reviews from others? Since this is now a private sit, are you insured like private pet sitters are? I would tell her you can’t do the sit unless she renews her membership and sends you the Welcome Guide.
If you decide to do it anyways, I hope it goes well.

Not quite it won’t be a THS sit if one party is no longer a member so no reviews can be left by either party .
