I’m so excited, I didn’t think homeowners would actually agree to let a family of 5 sit at their house but I got 4 sits confirmed within the last week. My daughter is acting like Christmas came early or something because she is obsessed with animals. Win win.

Congratulations! that is such wonderful news. I am finding it much more difficult than I would have thought to confirm a sit…but I think that’s because our child is 1 1/2 but it certainly give me hope to hear about your four confirmed sits.

My first sit is scheduled locally in Dallas TX for March 13th. This is the HO’s first time with THS as well.

My first 2 local sits will be in March in Dallas TX. Then the travel begins with Bercloud Colorado, then to Portland OR, and then Olympia WA.

Oh fun! I lived in Dallas for 2 years. First year near SMU and the second year near Deep Ellum. Had a blast exploring the stock yards over at Fort Worth too. We can’t wait to hear about your first sit!

That’s awesome news.
I have applied for so many sits this year with my family; even with all 5 star feedback but it’s a lot more difficult this year for house sits than last year. Perhaps it has something to do with the cost of living, people taking more pride in their homes and belongings. I don’t know what else. It totally puzzles me considering I have glowing feedback and references with me and my family that leave the house better than we found it.
Thank goodness I have my regulars that ask me back so I won’t dwell on this.
Hi, just out of curiosity, do you travel full time as a nomadic family?You’re statement of “I have applied for so many sits” caught my eye. My family and I have been travelling for 2 years in our motorhome but this year, we will store it and petsit instead filling in with AirBnb’s/hotels inbetween

No, just a family of 4. We own our own house and prefer short term house sits. Your 2 years of travelling sounds amazing. We love house sitting!
