Hi Everyone,

My husband and I live in Nevada and travel for two to three weeks about 3-4 times a year. We have one dog that needs daily walkings and one 5 month old cat that loves people. Need someone to housesit/petsit. We live in a quiet community and have a pool. There is fabulous hikes, sites and places to gamble! We are near Zion National Park and around 4 hours to Horseshoe Bend which is a very popular site to see and explore.
Looking forward to finding out about this community!

Welcome to THS and the forum.

It’s important that when you create your listing you include how long your pets can be left alone for or if your dog would enjoy coming with the sitters to Horseshoe Bend or Zion National Park . Otherwise sitters won’t know if they will have time to explore these places .

Next steps after joining the Forum:

  1. Choose your membership level basic/premium.
  2. Create your membership profile.
  3. Create an actual listing.
  4. Any sitters that apply- respond to quickly but within 72 hours to arrange a video chat.
  5. Invite a sitter to confirm… once they’ve confirmed keep in contact until the sit.
  6. Send them the Welcome Guide.

Your home sounds great, and that pool will come in very handy under the Nevada sun.

Welcome! Make sure you post your sits well in advance if possible so that sitters can make travel arrangements. It sounds like you have a lovely home and pets. Best of luck!
