I have a parking situation also on my current sit. I don’t think the HO knew it was an issue when he first offered me the sit, it was a couple of months ago. But he found out he doesn’t have visitor parking in the building. So I have to use the building across the street. $18 per day. He said he would pay me, but I won’t see him before I leave. If he doesn’t zelle me the money, then I will put it in my review. The guy who was here last week put it in his review. Doesn’t sound like he got the money. I just found out the day before the sit started. But he said he would give me the money. It is 4 days. So a chunk of money. I wouldn’t have taken the sit if I had known.
So glad to hear they are covering it. I would have canceled the sit if this happened to me as I am not a nomad and not dependent on finding a sit. I hate pettiness and this would have turned me off on a free sit. We are all different . I would have thought next they will bill me for using up the ketchup. Have a wonderful time on this sit, glad it all worked out.
Until he sends me the money, I am not sure he is covering it. But I needed to get brakes, booked the appt, so I was locked in to being in Atlanta for that. I am not hard up for money. Just annoying.
Can you manipulate the brake work scheduling to maximize the time it can be parked at the shop (for free)?
It was done yesterday. And I had to get back and walk the dog. It is 4 days. But I am on a very tight schedule to leave at 4:30 am on Thurs. And loading up the car is the issue, without them putting blocks on the car in the “visitor”. They are crazy about that. I have to talk to the office. And put a big note on the car while loading.
