Renewal coming up - occasional sitter

A q : If you end your THS account and re-up in the future, does your previous experience (sits and reviews) show up ? If so, no reason to NOT take a break if this is where your life is right now.
I’d run this q past THS AND have a response in writing so that you’re covered in the future.
If your experience does NOT show up upon re-joining, that is such an individual decision and I’d be in a quandary, too !

We’re also over 55 but not retired, and still enjoying sits. We don’t live in a resort/retirement community. We don’t have a vacation home. So for us sits get us that weekend or week in the country, or an option to extend our time visiting other cities.

If you don’t think you’ll use your membership, then it’s not worth it. But it feels like even a premium membership will pay for it’s after a few nights, and it could be a chance to explore other parts of your new state.

Thanks to those who responded. I confirmed with THS support that they will keep your current profile indefinitely if you request them to do so. This is very reassuring. We have a few weeks to decide what to do, but whatever we decide, we will have the peace of mind that we won’t lose everything we’ve worked hard to earn. Thanks THS! And thanks to other sitters who suggested this might be the case. I just assumed if you did not renew, your profile and reviews would be deleted.

I hope you go that in writing @petlover. I was advised it was definitely 2 years. I would still screenshot my reviews.

Thank you, I did. Even so, I’ll take photos of our profile and reviews. Great idea!

Just an update - even though we have it in writing that they wouldn’t delete our profile, my husband and I compromised and decided to renew, but at the regular membership rather than premium. We’ll take the next year to evaluate how often we see attractive sits. If we’re still not using the membership by then, we will likely cancel.

Thanks again to those who took the time to respond.
