Please encourage HOs to leave more details on their posts regarding transportation. It would be lovely to know, before applying, information beyond whether or not “a car is needed”, such as listing how far their home is from town (miles), is it walkable or bikeable (hills?), and how one gets to their property from out of town (airport and transport from/to). Thank you!
That would be nice. And distances are helpful. Saw a listing a while back that said “walkable to town”. Walkable for who? The athlete, or the senior with not-great knees? Traffic too. If it’s a 15-minute bike ride, is that along a quiet country road or a busy highway?
Alas, not everyone considers what others’ perceptions of easy transportation, walking, or biking are.
