Scout Lab is named communications agency for THS

It will be interesting to see how this plays out…

“Scout Lab, which works with clients in the human and planetary health sectors, is named communications agency for TrustedHousesitters, a home and pet-sitting community. Scout Lab will lead consumer press, brand positioning and media strategy for TrustedHousesitter to help it grow awareness of its travel model built on trust, community, and care. With a community of 280,000 people, TrustedHousesitters lets users stay for free in someone’s house while petsitting. "Scout Lab brings a proactive, high-energy approach that aligns perfectly with our ambition for the next stage of growth,” said TrustedHousesitters CMO Emily Grossman. Their ability to pair creative storytelling with measurable outcomes is exactly what we were looking for in a communications partner.”

Let’s just hope the “investment” in external spin doctors doesn’t direct the development funds away from where it’s really needed. User interface and IT.

Deleted as I no longer can be bothered to complain about something I have no control over. @BunnyCat said it all :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

This way lies sanity.

Interesting. I recently received an email from THS inviting me to take part in a survey in exchange for the chance to win £500 of holiday vouchers.

May have taken part, but the first set of questions read like the census. I already pay THS to do unpaid work - they’re not getting my data and input for free as well!

I wonder if that’s why we recently had a survey on travel

I did complete it

Now I get it!

They implemented the fees for the sake of the planet, to discourage short term travel.

A number of us received and completed it @Becca. Think we mentioned it in another thread which wasn’t specifically about the survey though.

Is Scout Lab optimisation AI ?

One of their straplines is “We build brands that advance humanity forward.”
What an absolute load of tosh!
This is how their homepage currently displays on an iPhone…

Same here @Becca except it was for $500 Australian, half the value of GBP500

@Cuttlefish it does show like that first up, yes. But when I swiped up then down, the page loads. Yes, a very, very weird homepage that’s for sure, not exactly a vote of confidence!! :winking_face_with_tongue:

I couldn’t possibly repeat what it is called in Yorkshire :face_with_peeking_eye:
I miss those heady innocent days when it was the members who grew the business by word of mouth.

Yeah let’s go with that @Newpetlover

Totally agree @Cuttlefish. My post got hidden by Mark for inappropriate language  don’t come to Australia then! We can’t cop disingenuous corporate speak.
