Think it caps out at this, never seen it go higher.
Yes I’ve noticed this for some time now - the number has never exceeded 10k not even over Christmas when there were an excess of listings .
It seems that the fee did not have such a big effect on the user base? Or are these the last sits, trying to get out as much as possible? Or did the sitters actually leave, and hosts are struggling? This is the data I am curious about.

I think it might just cap out at that. It seems like it has always been like this for sitters as well. If you do a search in a region where there are a lot, like the US, it always shows 10,000 exactly.
Funny enough, the actual amount of sits seems to be quite close to 10 000.
I did a search with slices of the map. Got approximately 5 500 for Americas, 4 000 for Europe including UK, and 500 for Australia and surroundings.
