These days, the apps shows over 10,000 listings/hosts worldwide who are actively looking for sitters. THS Powers That Be, would you please share some stats with the membership?
This is the nerdy math side of my brain wanting to know!

Oh god the nerdy side of me wants to know how many go unfulfilled? Never gonna be shown. I often check how many US and UK sits so work out what’s left. Not much. Honestly, while we did 5 sits in our first year I can see only doing one or two a year going forward.
One can dream 
Businesses with sense won’t share such details, for competitive reasons.
I can’t remember how long ago this was–at least a couple of years–or the topic of the thread in which it was shared, but I remember a moderator saying at the time that the average sitter on THS sat about 30 days a year. Not sure how accurate that is anymore. But I was surprised by that… I thought it would have been more and it made me realize that full-timers like myself, ,and longer term travelers, might be less common than I imagined on a platform like this .
If you scroll through sitter profiles even randomly, it’s clear that most sit only infrequently. Seems logical to me, because how much of the human population of potential sitters is retired or otherwise not working or working remotely? Relatively few.
