Oh I haven’t seen that tag about dog walking come up yet in my searches .
But even with one walk owners might have ticked can’t be left alone box and we can’t see that .
I’ve to date only seen three tags about matching experience, city/beach sit, and solo sitters. The only one that is useful is the solo sitters tag but then only if it’s actually true. If the description clearly says absolutely nothing but a retired couple the value-add is zero. Also owners should be required to revisit tags with each listing as preferences often change after good/bad experiences.
Tags that I would find useful are:
Only accepts couples or families
Does not accept local/travelling sitters
Requires you to work from home/be retired
Pets can’t be left alone for more than 2/4/6 hours
Requires an in-person meet pre-sit/sitter to arrive day(s) before departure
Must have experience with horses/reptiles/birds (anything more unusual than cats and dogs and rabbits and such)
Only accepts other specific things eg vegans/
If I saw some of those I’d actually know whether to apply or not and the whole tinkering with things that aren’t actually broken would add some value as it would save sitters and owners from wasting their time.
I don’t think that the owners write these tags, I could be wrong
