@Wildcolonialgirl if the son is entering the property without your permission or the permission of the homeowners this is a very serious issue of trespassing. If he doesn’t respect his parents wishes , it seems unlikely that he is going to respect a sitters wishes . How will he react when you confront him about this ?
What if something valuable or important is stolen / goes missing during the sit , who will get the blame ? Likely you the sitter - not the family member who is entering the home uninvited.
To cover your own back this needs to be addressed and reported to THS immediately- don’t wait for the situation to escalate . Even if you don’t want them to intervene, they should at the very least be informed sooner rather than later so that they have a record.
He isn’t aggressive, just cheeky. I have a feeling he won’t do it again now I’ve addressed it with his parents. As I say, I don’t feel remotely threatened, it is the privacy issue that is annoying. These notes are a record in themselves.
To clarify, @Maggie8K, the owners weren’t happy that he was letting himself in either so they have addressed it. I don’t expect any further issues.

And if it continues, I would probably leave the sit and leave the pet and home in immaculate condition and take pics of how I’ve left it in case it’s necessary, then write a very frank review.
The HO may not realise this is a huge violation or even know it’s happening, so definitely have a conversation first and move accordingly from there. X
