I don’t have a photo of this, but we had the kitchen redone a few years ago, and after that the top spot for our gray cat became the warm stone countertop above the dishwasher at the end of its cycle.
Lovely topic @Rhe - I’ve added it to our Featured Topics on the Forum homepage!
Here’s my lovely Walter, in one of his favourite cosy spots, in the tumble dryer. As you can imagine, I have to always check before I close the door and start a cycle!
Walter often waits until it’s finished drying, then he climbs in to inspect the clean, warm fabrics before I can fold anything!
On my last sit, I caught myself and closed the dryer tightly, because I thought maybe one of the cats might hop in and I might end up unintentionally giving them a dryer ride.
My most recent sit was a repeat where the cats often sleep in the drawers of a walk-in closet. They’re rows of drawers without an enclosure. My hosts actually showed me the drawers during my original walk-through, in case I needed to find the cats, who had many spaces throughout the large home on four levels.
They favored the sock drawer and underwear drawer. But they also were indoor/outdoor cats, so finding them would be hit or miss.
@Rhe I’d love to return there too! Please say hi to C & G (mention the Aussie sisters) and give Coco a big cuddle from me. Also make sure your legs and lap are available to Dizzy and Rascal!
