Hello fellow THS
I was advised to buy train tickets in advance to save money. Hence I’m doing it from Oz before I leave so I’m able to print the tickets, which has been requested.
I got myself a senior rail card and have downloaded the Trainline app.
I’ve just booked and paid for a ticket. However on the confirmation email they attached the ‘trip ics’. Don’t know what this means. But I noticed the times were different to the actual booking.
Actual booking is 1244 - 1702 and it comes up on the ‘trip ics’ as 2144-1702.
Can someone explain what’s happening ? I would expect when I looked at the timetable that the time is UK time definitely not Aussie.
Thanks in advance
Karen
@Karen65 the .ics file is to populate an event in your calendars with your trip details, the time is showing your local time in Australia. If you use the .ics file it will correct to local time when you get to the UK.
