Transitioning to paid HouseSitting / Pet care

not compared to northern. It is 50 on the patio right now. Below zero wind chills where I was living.

I do a lot of paid pet sits at home through Rover and referrals. Most of times the paid sits don’t think to leave space in the refrigerator or closets. THS sits are more organized. Luckily I have never run into sits on THS with attitude but definitely have encountered those people elsewhere. It is just the luck of the draw sometimes.

New to the ap and platform. 1st sit was good. I am on my second sit, a long one, and it is not a good fit. Description of older pet was lacking - she has higher needs and medical concerns than were disclosed, and house is in bad shape. I have another sit after this one. Questioning whether I will stay with pet sitting for “free”. I canceled the auto renewal. Hoping the next experience is good to offset the negative.

If the sit was misrepresented and/ or the living situation is bad you might leave the sit.

There’s a 24/7-helpline on your dashboard you can call.

@Yana

Our second sit was awful too.

Thankfully all good/great from there and we are currently on our 85th sit so we can’t complain too much about the good/bad ratio :grinning_face:

We received an invite to sit in Washington - and we’re in the UK!
