TrustedHousesitters account temporarily deactivated during active sits — what should I do?

Hi, I’m a NYC-based sitter and I’m looking for advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before.

My TrustedHousesitters account was temporarily deactivated after a complaint from a previous sit (related to a misunderstanding about feeding instructions). I’ve already responded to support, but I haven’t heard back yet.

The issue is that I:

• am currently in a sit

• have upcoming confirmed sits

• no longer have access to my messages on the platform

I’ve already reached out to the homeowners directly to keep communication going, but I’m worried about:

• how long reviews usually take

• whether my account will be reinstated

• and how this might affect my future on the platform

Has anyone experienced this before? How long did it take to get your account back, and is there anything else I should be doing right now?

Thanks in advance :folded_hands:

Here’s a link to the help article about member disputes.

Have you submitted your “evidence” to member support ?

I think only member support will know the answer to your other questions and they don’t read or reply to the forum .

Do you have access to live chat function ? :speech_balloon:
