Hello everyone!
A very simple topic, just for fun!
Glance to your left.
What’s there? A plant? A pile of laundry? A cat giving you side-eye?
Whatever it is, tell us!

My tax return paperwork that I had been ignoring until you made me look!
Sheep and countryside out of the bay window. I saw a deer this morning.
Too funny!
The beautiful black cat I am sitting for.
Our cat’s playground, occupying 1/4 of our living room. I count 4 soft toys (various types including those shaped like a hedgehog, butterfly and a flaming hot doritos bag), one feather, 2 wands a scratching post and one automatic toy mat, It looks like a toddler lives here…and I guess that is partially true!
My Thanksgiving cactus plants blooming for some odd reason
A DVD player I recently bought. I have hundreds of movies collected from across years. Used to watch them via a disc-changer that worked like a jukebox, but that died several years back, so I haven’t had access to those movies since.
My late father’s antique cupboard (Kast) he used when he was growing up, so it’s a very special piece of furniture.
My morning coffee ….. yum.
My sister!!
Loving everyone’s answers so far, a real mix of meaningful and lovely!
Today, to my left, my elderly cat Walter has fallen asleep on a chair
These wipes I use in the dog’s paws and in between the pads after each walk outside. It prevents fungal growth apparently. I keep them on the coffee table as a reminder to use them. The dog is on the sofa so it’s easier to sort his paws at this height than stooping down when we get in from each walk.
This is on the table to my left…
Santa brought it as a xmas present for my son during his dinosaur period.
The little blanket our current kitty lies on to bask in the sun but right now she’s out and about exploring!
Mobile phone, asthma inhaler, house phone, specs, battery pack. How boring! But fun stuff to post !
Oooh, interesting one… My bedside table, upon which: my empty breakfast bowl and mug, an old glass inkwell (empty), biro (undoubtedly dead), two note books as yet to be scribbled in, a bottle of cough mixture, small tin of homemade beeswax and lavender lip balm, an unfranked first class stamp torn from an envelope, and a dusty love letter of sorts!
