What's your most random pet moment so far?

I flung the kitchen door open, shouting “Out, Satan!” as I watched the neighbour’s black cat skulk out as fast as his arthritic hips would allow.
Yes, I’d been warned that ‘Satan’ sometimes sneaks in and eats food not meant for him, but it made me smile anyway.

Hi @Zanne

This is a great conversation starter - thanks for sharing!

I hope you don’t mind but I updated the title of your discussion a little, just to encourage more replies

The very sweet older male maine coon cat of my neighbour regularly ‘inspecting’ his territory in my house. If the backdoor is closed, he might knock on the door to be let in. He then walks through all the downstairs rooms towards the door giving access to the upstairs, fully expecting me to open that too. That allows him to continue his inspection of the upper rooms. This can take a few minutes or half an hour. On rare occasions, he decided my sofa is a good place to relax and sleep for a bit, undisturbed by the 2 other cats of my neighbour that are not so courageous. He is totally not interested in food, but is happy to get some petting. He already did this when I still had 2 cats myself, who did not care at all. He is just so very friendly…
